Families:
March....the time for midterms, discussing summer plans, getting ready for course registration, and more. As your student's semester likely picks up, encourage them to use resources and support services like these for their ongoing success.
- Encourage your Bull to schedule a meeting with their Academic Advisor to discuss summer and fall courses. The sooner, the better to avoid peak wait times!
- Share this video about the new Student Schedule Search with your student!
- Is your student looking to improve their mental health? Togetherall is an online peer-to-peer platform, offering a safe space to connect with others experiencing similar feelings
- Success and Wellness Coaching is a great resource for students seeking to renew their motivation and set goals.
Please encourage your student to complete these critical tasks to safeguard their ongoing enrollment at USF.
- Review their midterm grades in CANVAS. Concerned about what they see? Seek immediate guidance from both their academic and financial aid advisors.
- Ensure they can register for next semester. Students should check their OASIS account for items (i.e. holds) that may prevent their ability to register.
- Have them confirm their account balance is paid in full in OASIS. Students with balances may not be able to register for the Summer and Fall terms.
- Check their Financial Aid status to verify they have met all requirements and have turned in any documents needed for verification before course registration.
- Identify their registration time slot in their OASIS account under the “Student” tab.
Please share these important dates and critical deadlines with your student:
- March 27: Last day to withdrawal from a Spring course with no refund & no academic penalty
- March 29: Summer and Fall 2021 course registration begins
