Hello Rania and other parents. My son is on the housing standby list with USF. Meanwhile, we researched off -campus apartments and only found 2 we liked. Of course, they are also full and have a waitlist. We live in New Jersey so he obviously can’t commute.
I can’t believe my son might actually have to go remote for his first year of college. How can USF accept more students than they can house?! And why don’t Freshmen have guaranteed housing? It is so disheartening for a student to get accepted to the school he wants, tour it, love it to then only get disappointed…
As a parent it breaks my heart that my son and other students are experiencing the same.
