USF is a boundless community with a highly diverse population and extensive student resources. To ensure your student is taking advantage of all the opportunities available to them, here’s a short list of some of the ways they can get involved and meet friends on the Tampa campus:

  • Student Organizations: there are over 600 student clubs and organizations available on the Tampa campus for your student to join. Encourage them to sign up for BullsConnect, where they will be able to browse all the club options.
  • On-Campus Job Opportunities: Convenient on-campus jobs provide numerous opportunities to earn money for college necessities. Ensure your student is applying for jobs that can help assist them with important skill-building experience and cost savings.
  • Athletics: With 17 varsity sports to watch on the Tampa campus, your student will gain FREE admission to all games, including football hosted at Raymond James Stadium, the home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
  • Student Events: With over 1,000 campus events held yearly on the Tampa campus, your student will always have something to do. We even host a weekly open-air market, the Bull Market, near our Student Center for students to hang out with friends.
  • Housing/Floormates: Students living on campus are able to make friends easily by engaging with their floormates and attending floor-wide events. Our Housing and Residential Education team is focused on keeping your student engaged, happy and healthy.
