USF uses your student’s SAT/ACT Math scores for placement in the appropriate math courses. However, they may not have earned their best possible score while taking the SAT/ACT. To ensure they are enrolled in the correct math course, we encourage all incoming students to take the placement test as soon as possible, preferably before you are registered for courses.
They will need to log into their Canvas portal, navigating to the Math Placement Test course, to start the test process.
